About Sportical
Sportical is a free, auto-updating sports calendar. You subscribe once, and the fixtures drop into the calendar app you already use, in your own timezone, keeping themselves current as games are played.
Why I made it
I'm a sports fan, and I kept losing track of when things were actually on, wrong timezones, games I meant to watch and missed, schedules that changed after I'd already noted them down. I wanted the fixtures to just live in my own calendar and stay correct on their own. Nothing did that simply, so I built it. It's a solo project, made on nights and weekends. It starts with the 2026 World Cup, with more sports and competitions to come.
Free, and staying that way
Sportical is a static site, which means it costs very little to run. So there's no catch, no ads, no paywall, and no investors to answer to. If it saves you some hassle and you'd like to chip in, there's a tip jar, but it's never required and never will be.
Private by design
No signup, no accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no personal data collected. A lot of free tools quietly make you the product. Sportical doesn't. You add a calendar link, and that's the whole relationship.
